Tunnel Liner segments

SCI now possesses a sophisticated tunnel liner segment manufacturing facility to provide an efficient economical solution for the production of segmental liners for the bored tunnel construction industry in Australia.>br>


The facility is capable of manufacturing large quantities of segments every day. This concentrated level of manufacture is able to be achieved using our specially designed, fully mechanised, computer controlled segment manufacturing carousel. Segments are manufactured in this all-weather facility using state of the art concrete technology combining steel fibre reinforced concrete, intense compaction and heat accelerated curing in order to produce an exceptionally durable product capable of a 100 year design life in a marine environment.
